Oil
Start with a good under drawing then fix the drawing down. Start applying oil washes thin layers at first then build to thick more opaque layer. Start with darker colors first then build to the light side of the objects. Oil stays wet longer so it is a great medium to blend color and soft edges. Be carful you can get it all over you, use a apron or a smock to protect your self. |
